World professional Golfers from 20 countries will compete at the Enjoy Jakarta Indonesia PGA Championship 2013 that will play at the Emeralda Golf Club, from 28 – 31 March 2013.
Held under OneAsia Tour and jointly
sanctioned by the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO) the event is
organized by the World Sports Group (WSG) appointed by the Indonesian
Golf Professionals Association (PGPI), and has the full support of
Jakarta provincial government, The Enjoy Jakarta Indonesia PGA
Champion\ship 2013 has a total of US$ 1 million prizes.
Already 16 professionals have confirmed
participation including Shingo Kataya from Japan, KT Kim from Korea,
Simon Dyson from England, Liang Weng Chong from China and Jeev M Singh
from India. Also competing will be Indonesia’s own popular Rory Hie, who
finished runner-up in the event in 2011.
Participants are from Japan, China,
Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore,
the United States, South Korea, India, Indonesia and more.
The tournament, which has the Jakarta
administration as the main sponsor, is the second series scheduled for
this year, organized by OneAsia Tour and the Japan Golf Tour
Organization (JGTO), with Thailand hosting the opening series on March
14-17.
“This championship helps raise the
curtain on our 2013 season in spectacular fashion and we are extremely
grateful to Enjoy Jakarta for their support,” said Sang Y Chun,
OneAsia’s chairman and commissioner, in a press release.
“This is OneAsia’s fifth season and we
have been thrilled with the incredible pace at which we are growing
thanks to events like this and outstanding venues like Emeralda,” added

Jakarta’s best golf courses, which offers challenging greens and

The Champtionship will be broadcast worldwide, with 60- minutes live reports during the 4 days over Fox Sports/Stars Sports, Jupiter Golf Network and MetroTV, as well as reruns played over these stations.
